The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University was established in July 2015 in order to ensure quality education at the tertiary level. IQAC was established as a project for a period of 3 years with financial assistance from HEQEP, UGC, and the World Bank. IQAC will become a permanent organ of the University after three years and its operations will be sustained and maintained under the revenue budget of the University.

The vision of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU) is to foster a sustainable culture of quality, innovation, academic excellence, and continuous improvement, enabling the University to achieve national excellence and global competitiveness in higher education, research, and institutional governance.
MISSION
The mission of IQAC is to promote continuous quality enhancement across all academic and administrative activities of the University by strengthening teaching and learning, curriculum and assessment, research and innovation, student support services, and institutional governance. IQAC is committed to enhancing the professional capacity of faculty members, officers, and staff; promoting transparency, accountability, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based planning; supporting accreditation and compliance with national and international quality standards; and strengthening JKKNIU’s academic reputation, national and international visibility, and contribution to sustainable development.
